Cool Kids Anxiety Program

For children in years 2, 3 and 4. Kate Brown will facilitate this world-renowned, skills-based program that has been popular since its beginning in 1993. Anxiety comes in many forms for children such as finding it difficult to separate from parents, being extremely shy, avoiding school and social activities or worrying about everyday matters, potential dangers and the future.  Children can experience sleep difficulties, headaches and sore tummies and a variety of feelings associated with anxiety. The Cool Kids program offers a skill-based approach to helping parents and children manage anxiety.

Managing Anxiety in Children - Webinar

Hopefield Services presents an online community education session to help with supporting children (2-12) through anxious moments. We will explore the physical, emotional, psychological and relational effects of anxiety on both parent and child/ren. We will offer strategies for supporting children through anxious moments. We will also highlight the effects of recent events including fire, storms and COVID-19 on children and family wellbeing.

Hopefield Markets - Postponed

Hopefield Op Shop along with Hopefield Services are hosting a community market at Gymea Baptist Church. The Hopefield Markets will feature many local artists, craftspeople, food stalls, kids activities and designers as well pre-loved fashion from our very own Hopefield Op Shop.

All money raised by Hopefield from this event will fund the delivery of services and support to people in our community experiencing distress including homelessness and domestic and family violence.

Circle of Security Parenting Program

For parents and carers of children aged 0-5 years.  At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what their child might need from them.  Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you.  The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.

This program is delivered in a small groups.
